I answered this one. A robot tells you its the last day to lower your credit card interest rate. I then pressed one to speak to a representative. He didn't know my name. He said he represented capitol one, chase, and some other companies. I asked him to take me off his call list. He tried to explain that he worked for my credit card company. I asked him what account number he had on file that qualified for a lower rate. He said my visa. I don't have a Visa. I requested a second time to be put on a do not call list. He called me a stupid guy and hung up. I'm guessing its a phishing scam to get social security numbers and mothers maiden names so they can open up cards under your name. Do not give them anything.
Got a call from 337-319-8512. Knew it was a credit card scam a mile away. First a recording the a "press 1 to speak with an employee'' I pressed one and kept an Indian guy named "Adam" (yeah right) on the phone for 6 minutes while I "looked" for my credit card. When it was clear he was becoming impatient I called him a scumbag sand ni66er and hung up.
