I answered this one. A robot tells you its the last day to lower your credit card interest rate. I then pressed one to speak to a representative. He didn't know my name. He said he represented capitol one, chase, and some other companies. I asked him to take me off his call list. He tried to explain that he worked for my credit card company. I asked him what account number he had on file that qualified for a lower rate. He said my visa. I don't have a Visa. I requested a second time to be put on a do not call list. He called me a stupid guy and hung up. I'm guessing its a phishing scam to get social security numbers and mothers maiden names so they can open up cards under your name. Do not give them anything.
So sick of this the same people I keep blocking and wanting to be off of the list and they keep changing the number that they call from same racheal from credit card services I thought they have gotten sued for this. I have reported this before same old message new name.
Called my cell phone tonight, I don't know anyone in this area, I'm military, I have a Texas number but live on the east coast. I made it on to this list and receive many of these calls, I no longer answer them, I check the number and are if it had any info listed online, but regardless I block it on my contact list.
