I'm not convinced complaining is effective. Your note was from June. Today, July 24, the same slime called here, and the display on caller id said "Obama Stim". Clearly they want to trap the unwary into believing this is the magic door for which they can get their deserved share of the Stimulus (stim) money that the country is awash in.
called back the number Obama Stim and received recorded message "if you would like to be placed on our do not call list, please press 1 now". I did press 1 and now let's see if this actually works.

SINCE THEIR NUMBER WAS ALREADY BLOCKED, MY PANASONIC PHONE RANG ONCE - THAT WAS IT.

“PRIVATE,” “OUT OF AREA” and "UNKNOWN" calls!!!
I have had the same home number and the same business phone number for over 15 years and my home and my business lines (both published) seem to be on every call list imaginable. I bought a Panasonic call blocking phone for my home and I bought a Uniden call blocking telephone for my business.
NO MORE PROBLEMS WITH TELEMARKETERS. THEY CAN’T GET THROUGH!
We can stop these telemarketers IF we all buy a call blocking phone.
