They just called me as well. I got kinda nervous, tried to call back the number and it wasn't in service..if an elderly person gets the call i hope they don't fall for it..Thanks for the posts
Synthesized speech message (not a real person) saying that they've been trying to reach me and that the IRS is going to file a lawsuit against me. I hung up before they could go any further. They called again about a half-hour later. I did not answer and the call went to voice mail. Same message.
Have received 5 calls from this number so far today. They leave the same message as everyone else that I'm being sued by IRS and need to call them back. I've probably gotten over 50 calls saying I'm being sued by them. This is not a real IRS number.
