I just got a call from a heavy accented Asian male saying he was calling to help me fix my computer problem. I told him he would not need to call me about my problem I would be the one calling him. I would not give him assess to my computer. I told him to mail the directions to me. He was very persistent. Then he gave up after I said well mail it to me.
I just got the same call stated from Microsoft and was recieving the same messages.. funny thing is I have an Apple computer and currently a computer programer.. I said oh my ... as the caller contined he tried to get me to provide him with my ip address and prompted me to input a code into my computer as well as download software to kill the malware sending out these alerts....I asked for contact and call back info and he became upset.. hmmmm... After this I advised I was a Mac user not even remotley connected to using Microsoft products and he promptly hung up..
Wanted to fix many viruses on my computer. Asked for his phone number and told him I would call him back. I don't have any problems with my computer. Go figure.
Rcv'd call from Devid who works for Global PC Support 24/7. Got the same number and told him I wanted to speak to someone who could speak English. He tried. He failed. I told him I'd call when the problem got worst that it was today. Can't the 347-352-0133 be reported to the Better Business Bureau?
