Called to speak to my son who does not live with me. When the male caller was informed that he was not home...he said that he was in legal trouble with the US Treasury and if he did not call ...he would be in a big legal mess. The caller had a strong accent and left a contact person name Jeremy??
If the attorney general wanted to speak to you, he would send men with badges to escort you to his office.

I have received 2 calls, just today, that is telling me to call this number back immediately by order of the "attorney general". The voice states it's about the "legal status of a claim", but won't say who they are or what claim they are referring to. When I call back, it rings then goes to a busy signal.
I just got two in a row from this number saying they were from the Arry Generals office and I must call back now.,I never pick them up. If this was a legit call they wouldn't leave a message like that in that tone.
Calls originate in India and Pakistan. They spoof local numbers. As such they are beyond the reach of US law and regularly ignore all US laws. Local government s don't do anything. Invest in a call blocker.
