I just got the same call from Mike Anderson and i hung up and did research. I found out that the IRS can only contact you by US mail only..So anyone who calls you on the phone saying they are an IRS AGENT hang up
Just received a call from this number also. Calling from New York and thats not even where I file my taxes!! Big scam. Have a blessed day? Definitely not from the real IRS!!!
I got a call from this number an hour ago. They said I got and audit from 2008-2012 and told me to call mike anderson. I know I don't owe them anything because I've been doing my taxes for a while and they never had me paid them anything. I got so scared I had to call my uncle and he told me it was a scam.
Well I'm joining the list of the others of this post .... Same call same number same name...I'm gonna call irs directly to just make certain.... I did have a debt to irs in 2009 but it was resolved... It took 2 years of filing they did take my refund ... I went thru a tax clinic that helped me .... Others beware....
