A message from Sean Williams, department of legal affairs. Said I would need a lawyer as I had legal problems. His tone was threatening with middle eastern accent. Foolishly called him back and said I was an attorney, and he said, "You're an attorney"?
When I said I was, he slammed the phone down. His message had ended with "have a blessed day", and "God bless", which I thought was odd for a 'department of legal affairs' agent.
They called me saying they were from the Legal Affairs Dept. of the U.S. Treasury and that I had been named to a legal action. I told them I knew this was a scam, that I had their phone number and that I would report them to the Authorities. They promptly hung up. DON'T BE FOOLED!!! THESE ARE SCAM ARTISTS PREYING UPON PEOPLE'S IGNORANCE! TELL THEM YOU'RE ONTO THEIR GAME AND THAT YOU WILL REPORT THEIR ASSES!
They called and said they were sending the local police along with an officer from the US Department of the treasury.

I too just received this call. I hung up and they called back twice, Very harassing. I feel sorry for anyone that is not aware that these things are happening.

If they call back, tell them you know they are scam artists and that you are reporting them to the authorities. DON'T TAKE THIS CRAP LYING DOWN, PEOPLE! The US Treasury Dept. (AKA IRS) would NEVER call you! They would send you a certified notification via snail mail!!!!

Received a call stating he was from the US Dept of Treasury, Legal Affairs Dept and that there was a warrant out for my arrest. He wanted personal information and as soon I stated that I have already contacted the FBI, IRS, FCC, BSA and local police I heard a loud click ------------ this is a SCAM!!!!! Don't fall for it.
Received a call from a Sean Williams from the Department of Legal Affairs 347-632-1846. The message stated that their was an enforcement out against my name and to please call back. When I called back - the person was frustrated with my asking questions of the call. He hung up! SCAM
Received call stating that I had legal action being filed against me. I asked by what organization, He did not give an answer and said that I was to call...... before he got it out I started to laugh. He said " what is so funny? this is not a laughing matter" He seemed very frustrated that I was not believing him. I told him to have the organization that he is representing to call me. You have my number and then hung up on him. His accent was middle eastern from what I could tell.
