A message from Sean Williams, department of legal affairs. Said I would need a lawyer as I had legal problems. His tone was threatening with middle eastern accent. Foolishly called him back and said I was an attorney, and he said, "You're an attorney"?
When I said I was, he slammed the phone down. His message had ended with "have a blessed day", and "God bless", which I thought was odd for a 'department of legal affairs' agent.
347-632-1846 Called saying his name was Michael with the dept of legal affairs and that law enforcement action had been taken. Return the call or if too busy retain a lawyer to call back
I called them back and said " I received a call from you guys that was obviously a mistake, so I would like to remove my number from your call list" and without saying a word they just hung up.. Most definitely a scam..I will call back from another number and go along with what they say and give them fake information to see what form a payment they want ( guessing western union since it is unsecured) and what name they want the payment sent to. I than plan on making their lives a living hell to the point they need to cancel their phone number and accounts.
I also received a phone call from someone claiming that there was some sort of legal action being taken against me and I was to call 347-632-1846. I asked him what this was about and he kept telling me to call the number he gave me and said it would be explained to me when I called. I told him to send me the info and I would give it to my attorney to handle. I then told him that I knew this was a scam and hung up.
I could only suggest that someone of authority should call him back and play his game through. Hopefully they could track him down and arrest him,
