Just got a call from "Jason" asking me questions about what insurance I have if I have any DUIs, I told him what is the purpose of your call? He said he works with insurance companies in NYC that matches insurances with customers for best rates . I told him I have insurance and I'm not interested . F out of here with that BS. SCAM! He's lucky I didn't curse him out like I usually do to them.
Maybe this is how the gov't spies on us. I am sure the phone companies can eliminate these call, but don't want to. In order to get a phone number, i had to provide a "physical" address, so why can't they reveal the "physical" address of these creeps, so i can send them magazine subscriptions? Sick of b.S. One-way government! I have complained to all the agencies!
Called, left no message. Just another of thousands of spoofed numbers coming from scammers overseas. If you do answer and they hang up, it was a robocall looking for live numbers, by answering the number its puts you on a list that these scammers then sell to other groups who will call and harass you and try to steal your personal info so that they scam you out of your money/steal your identity.
If you don't recognize the number and they don't leave a message it is most likely a scammer calling with a spoofed number. Just don't answer and block the number.
Cause these scammers are calling from outside the US and are using spoofed numbers. The phone companies and the government could put a stop to it, but they don't seem to care. The phone companies are probably making money off of these calls, and government officials don't have to deal with these calls as they have their aides and handlers to answer their phones for them and filter these calls out.
