Who called from 3478538989

I've been getting the same messages too. Planning to call them back (not from cell phone) and scare them by telling them it's the "financial fraud branch" of the department of commerce or whatnot and threaten them. I doubt such a branch exists, but they're obviously not smart enough to consider the fact that we realize they're a scam.

With phone and text scam like this, I've learned that the best way to deal with it is to do the same thing back at them--sadly, the old "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" trick. After they get harassed in return, they eventually give up with their stupid scam.

I called these fools back from a different phone, one I knew was not associated with BofA at all, I mean, Idon't even bank with BofA!, anyway, my suggestion is to call them back with purposely misleading information, just punch numbers on your phone's keypad at random when they cue you for an account number (16 digits, I believe), if enough people do this my guess is they're gonna be put to chase wild geese in vain, what are the odds?

I'm sick and tired of getting texts from these scammers. They have been texting me every day and it says:
BOA: Verification required for your VISA card 4356-020X-XXXX-XXXX Please call 347-853-8989. Is there any way that I can block them?

The other one that I've been getting says notice@sprint... Contact 208-772-6196

There has to be a way to block these idiots!

Just got a text from [email protected] concerning reactivating my visa, from BOA. I changed my cell phone # a week ago and have only given the # to close family and friends. I do bank with Bank of America. If there is a block on your card they will notify by phone or a message on your e-account message page instructing you to call the customer service number on the back of your card. Good luck everyone
