This number keep calling talking about collecting money for police for something.

Received a call from this # today.  He said he was from the police department.  I said "Don't call me again."  As I was hanging up, I heard him yelling "Mam!  Mam!"

Repeated calls from 347 896 4185, almost every day leaves no message

A few days after police told us an old telephone scam is making the rounds again, we got a call.
The call, from 347-896-4185, (another one uses a 718 number) was seeking money for the
“New York Police Chief’s Foundation.”  We asked if we could call him back and he said no!
These scammers are hoping seniors,  in particular, fall for the ruse.
