Got a call on EASTER SUNDAY MORNING looking for $. It was a Police Charity. They wanted a donation now even when they claimed they will mail something. Told them I will make the donation when I get something in the mail, and NEVER on the phone. Goodbye and Happy Easter.
Answer machine no message left. According to a NY local Newspaper this is a scam asking donations for New York Chiefs of Police. POLICE NEVER MAKE PHONE CALLS FOR DONATIONS DO NOT FALL FOR THIS IMPOSTER.

I received a couple of times phone calls from the same number. Saying they are from NYPD and I hung up right a way, because NYPD shouldn't call us and asking for money.
