March 12, 2013    I just received a call from a woman from this number - 1-347-979-7438    and she had a strong Indian accent.   She told me my personal information (this is kind of scary) and told me there was a criminal case against me and that my S.S. # would be froze and my license would be suspended.   I told her that I wanted to know what this was about and she really never gave me an answer I could understand.   I just hung up.   But, she called my number back and left a message about the same thing.    This sounds like a scam.

Everyone, I have been dealing with this person for 2 weeks now, they are persistent and annoying. I have talked to the attorney generals office about them and have called the FTC in Washington and reported all the different names and #s that have been used. The FTC told me that there had recently been a security breach on an Internet site and allot of consumer information had been stolen. They advised me not to talk to the people as it is an obvious scam, they said if I did answer the calls to simply tell them to send it to you in writing and then hang up on them. Please if you are having the harassing phone calls, contact the FTC immediately and give them all the info on the caller. Maybe if this is reported enough then something can be done.

Calling stating that they are federal lawyers and. Stating that they will be sending a letter to my employment. To terminate my employment. They confused becusae I am Deaf and using my interpreter... She or He have strong scent... Kind of spam... They kept called me and I hung up on them... They said are you hung up on me.. Go get lawyer because Federal case against me for crimes... HUH? He hung up on me...
