twice called in one day. Once before 8 and then after 9 and only a partial message as I am on DNC and have a no solicitation on my phone before it rings through. Second call I picked up and it would not release my phone.

I received 2 recorded voice mails 7/27/2016 from a female voice that I would characterize as a Caucasian, middle-aged, non-accented Mid-Western U.S. person. Both calls were identical and threatened that the "IRS was filing a lawsuit against YOU". Neither call left a reference or case number - only their phone number and the statement "to call back immediately". Area code 360 is in the State of Washington, perhaps in Seattle or Vancouver. Obviously a scam call. I hope you can catch them and prosecute them.
Representing yourself as an IRS representative is a Federal felony, isn't it?
Same thing today first time I didn't answer they left a female automated message that the IRS was suing me. 2nd Time I picked up the phone when they called and a Hindu fella on the other end said he was representing the IRS in a law suit against me and that he needed my SS# to verify it was me he was talking to. I told him that he needs to tell me what my SS# is so I know he is talking to the right person. He hung up.
WARNING people!! The IRS will not ever contact you by phone (especially your cell phone) all their correspondence is done by mail.
I called them back 20 times today. I told them they won a trip, I ordered a pizza, I attempted to conduct a poll regarding the upcoming general election (guy didnt know what an election was), and just generally harassed the [***] out of them. Hell, I think ill call again.
