FAKE IRS SCAM.
Received a recording from this number, saying they were the IRS and they were filing suit, and to call back. I called back from a different number, and an Indian woman answered "Hello, IRS." She then asked what number they had called. She seemed to know that the number I had called from was not in their system. It's as if she was trying to match up the number that they had originally called in order to further their scam.
I believe that this is part of the same scam run by the "card services" people. In the last two weeks, all of the card services telephone reps have been Indian.
I received an automated phone call from a woman claiming to be from the IRS threatening me with a criminal lawsuit. There has been a scam going around by people claiming to be calling from the IRS who then get people to pay them money. This is a scam.
I received a call from this company leaving a messaging telling me to call them immediately for additional details as the IRS was going to sue me. We had previously heard about this scam. I wanted to file a report against them anyway and to let others know what a scam this is.
