What To Do When You Get an Illegal Robocall; http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/microsites/robocalls
1. Hang Up. Do not press 1 or any other numbers to get off the list.
2. Consider blocking the number
3. Report it at http://www.fcc.gov/complaints
4. Report it at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov
Register your phone numbers online at http://www.donotcall.gov or call (888) 382-1222 (must call from # you want removed).
When I receive a call from a new number I put it in my contacts list under Scum Suckers and assign it NO ring tone so at least after the first call they don't bother me anymore (I have filled all of the numbers in each and am up to Scum Sucker 47 now). Some phone companies will allow you to block a limited amount of numbers, however this is only a whack-a-mole solution but the only one I can offer.
Jerks just called my cell phone, which is on the do not call list, at 11:17 MST. I didn't answer since it wasn't in my contacts. I will be adding them to my contacts in Google Voice, then I will block it so that they receive a disconnected message when they call that number, and then I will call them from that Google Voice number and have a nice little chat if they're stupid enough to answer. And if they hang up, I'll keep calling them back!
Never leaves a message...i added to contacts and selected calls to go directly to voice mail cuz they never leave one and it bever will bother me again....HA HA....take that u jerks although i have a ring tone that says "im an a-hole" which would be hysterical!!!!
If someone can pin point their location, I would be thrilled to turn off their phones for them. They have been a pain for several years now and pay no attention to Do Not Call lists.
