Yes, I just got a call as well. They have been calling for weeks and just won't stop!
A government official was interviewed, they just don't have enough people to follow up on all the complaints. It may still help to report them at www.donotcall.gov, on occasion those reports are used when an investigation is already in progress.
The people who really have the resources to stop this is the phone companies, however they continually lobby and fight against any attempt to make them the "phone police" because that costs money and they make even more money when people use their system to violate the law.

call here said Marysville, Wa Same message about carpet cleaning. Twice in 3 hours. Here my number goes again ,for unsolicited calls from computer generated number. Every day it is a new one about unneeded service, or ones I can't afford. Sick of it. It's costing me just to use the land line phone through a cable co.
