Got the call. Pressed 1. Answered their questions. Told them I owed 6 figures in CC debt. She hung up. 5 minutes of her time she couldn't spend harassing someone else! My work here is done (until the next time)
---To answer your question, as why the "card services" scammers still exist, with so many complaints-- they still exist because of the fact that so many people do complain, and do NOTHING to spread the word of these lowlifes to others, who are not aware of them, and thus are not helpful at all at cutting off the scammer's sources of revenue. People who complain, complain and complain, and do nothing, will continue to get their annoying calls for another 10 years.
Some one tell me or show me how to redirect these calls to the White House in Washington DC and let them answer. I bet they have automatic screeners that stop all these type calls and we the tax payer is paying for that service for our lovely congress and government in Washington.
Another number that is now on my 'sentry call blocker' reject list. I have room for1490 more rejects. Guess they will not be able to call me using this number anymore, oh well I will just have to keep my present interest rate and not let scammer steal my money or ID. & They will have to fake another number for the caller ID. haha ha hah!
I wonder if my new machine leaves them with an open line and for how long. after all they are waiting for someone to hit a 1 or a 3 or to hang up. & the call blocker is waiting for the scammer to punch a number & the sentry asks for a different number every time, It has to leave the scammer machine with an open line for a little while anyhow. I hope so. anything to mess them up is a good thing.
