Got the usual call from CREDIT CARD services, even after I pressed one ALL THE TIME. Now I was told to F--- Off, my Balance is to high! Harassing, who can I complain to on this?
This company calls numbers on the National Do Not Call registry (in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act) and plays a recorded message with no operator on the line (also in violation of the TCPA). They are offering a guaranteed reduction in your credit card interest rates. This is clearly a scam as they have already violated the law twice. Do not provide these phishers with any personal information!
I am on do not call and this is card services and supposedly the ftc shut them down. they call and I press one to tell them they are violating the law the filthy mouth called me all kinds of names. they even called back an hour later from another number. what is wrong with the ftc? I think the ftc is another scam because of the big false bogus report about shutting down card services.
When is the government going to do something about these scammers? I can't believe people actually fall for this scam. I think they would have better luck being a pick-pocket at a nudist resort.
