Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
The only persons who should be touching your computer is you, your manufacturer, Real Windows support that you have called and/or maybe a real live tech you see face to face!
i just got this same phone call today on my cell. it was a foreign speaking woman telling me i was chosen for a 9200 federal grant from the govt. and did not have to pay a penny back and it was a once in a lifetime thing. and that I was chosen because I pay my bills on time and I have no criminal record! really?m I hung up on her. why can't ppl just make an honest living like most of us and stop scamming?!?!?! my question to u is did your local police dept. do anything about this? because I was thinking of doing the same thing.
