Received 2 recorded messages from a place claiming to be the IRS. They told me the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. I called back the number they left me, (360) 450-0205. The guy had an indian accent and their was a lot of noise and laughing in the background. He said the IRS was going to suspend my drivers license and put a lien on my house. I told him that did not sound right and he laughed and hung up.
I let the answering machine pick this one up. IRS. Gonna sue. Yeah. I think I'll call 'em back, give 'em my phone number (which they've already got from caller ID), my name, my social security #, my credit card # - whatever the ol' IRS wants I'm gonna give to whoever answers the phone, because A) I'm a fool, B) I am just SO sure that when the IRS calls they're NOT gonna have my name, C) they're NOT gonna give me a case #, and D) they are just SO going to call from a home phone in Vancouver, WA!
Received a call at 9:20 am from a very accented male 360-450-0205 saying he is with the IRS and they are suing me, I told them I contacted the FBI and reported them and he said he didn't care about that. I said well you will when you get arrested for impersonating the IRS. Hung up then.
