Like most of you I received a message with a recording to call back this number stating I was being sued by the IRS. After giving my name and number the Indian guy told me he found my file and that I was being sued for not paying my taxes for 3 years. I immediately realized this was a scam and asked to speak to a supervisor which the rep then placed me on hold and came back on the phone attempting to disguise his voice saying that he was Officer John, badge #55283 or something like that. Long story short the rep claimed his name was Jack Walker and he was located in the white house and was the middle man for the IRS. Once I told him my husband was a cop calling the number on another phone to verify his identity he hung up. This of course was after me and the rep argued when I called him out on his bull!
I got so scared when this guy called me and stated I owe them money, so I sold my house and both my cars, put all the money in a brown paper bag and asked if I could just leave it on his front door step. He hung up.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
I have received multiple calls and they have left messages saying I must contact them immediately or I will be sued by the IRS. Last night the caller said "this is your last chance". Yes - don't call again!!!
