rrrrrrreceived phone call from 360-566-2212 i was being sued by irs to get information about case call 360-450-0205 i called back and they ask me if this was my name i told them yes and they hung up
Received a voice message on my home phone saying the IRS was going to file a lawsuit against me. I immediately called from my cell and no one answered. I hung up, thinking it was strange. Checked the number and tried again. This time some foreigner answered claiming to be a sargent, but he was cutting in and out so bad I couldn't understand him. I asked multiple times for his name and felt he was purposely trying to sound like we had a bad connection. He asked me to hold...while holding I heard lots of voices of foreigners being loud and hackling...he checked back to make sure "You hold, right? You hold." Not! I hung up and googled the phone to find this complaint page.
Remember: The IRS NEVER calls you! (I believe it says this on their Hold Message.)
I received a call from the IRS today stating it was a final notice and that they were filing a lawsuit against me. What can be done to prevent these phone calls from happening and bringing these frauds to justice/
