I get this call all the time (from Marysville, WA) on my cell phone... at work, at home on Sunday, all the time. I thought my number was registered on NO CALL. Once I answered (at work), heard the word "survey", hung up.
I get at least 10 calls a week from this supposed "Independent Survey Group." It's a scam. They just want your credit card info, which you should NEVER give out over the phone, no matter who it is (phone lines are not secure). DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!
I blocked this number as well as the following, since they keep using these other lines to call me:
"DO NOT CALL REGISTRY" is completely USELESS!!! Another government scam to make us believe something is being done to protect our privacy. It's just a shell to make the public believe the government can actually do something to prevent telemarketing and scam calls. THEY WON'T DO ANYTHING! So, we get to suffer endless calls from f****** telemarketers, robo-calls and fake numbers!
