I get this call all the time (from Marysville, WA) on my cell phone... at work, at home on Sunday, all the time. I thought my number was registered on NO CALL. Once I answered (at work), heard the word "survey", hung up.
I'd assume IND SUR GROUP is "Independent Survey Group" or something similar. But now nothing shows on the caller ID save the number, itself: 360-474-3921.
As just a side-note: The "Do Not Call" registration IS useless -- IF people don't follow through.
It takes only a moment to go to https://complaints.donotcall.gov/ and report the call. (By the way, political survey or action groups may be exepmt from the DoNotCall requirements.)
And here's a quote from the DoNotCall.gov site: "Your registration will not expire. Telephone numbers placed on the National Do Not Call Registry will remain on it permanently due to the Do-Not-Call Improvement Act of 2007..." So you no longer need to re-register every 5 years.
Get calls from them on 3 phones. How they get my #'s. How can i get them to stop. Call a lot when i answer no one there. They leabe no message why are they calling how can i get them to stop???
So far these are the numbers this supposed "Independent Survey Group" is calling from. I have a caller ID box that allows me to block them, but they keep changing the number they are calling from, so I guess I'll just have to block them continuously (my box holds 500+ numbers so I'm assuming they don't have that many extensions). I'm tempted to answer one day and if a live person answers to give them a taste of an air horn.
