I've had several calls on my cell phone from bogus "survey" that is actually an attempt to sell you a "free" cruise likely tied to high-pressure time-share sales or the like. I listened to just enough to verify that it's a scam.
I think we all have been duped by listing our number on the "do not call list". Because political groups, charities and market surveys can call you-i believe they use the "do not call list" to obtain numbers.
I attempted to disconnect my landline b/c I have a cell phone. I don't need landline service. The AT&T customer service said he performed a special input on my number which should stop unknown calls. This is not working. I plan to call AT&T again and get my number disconnected but this time I won't let them talk me out of it.
I have been getting numerous calls daily from different phone numbers, Saturdays, Sundays and throughout the weekday. NO MORE! I am sick of it.
Received call on my Google Voice number almost 1 hr ago from this number. Google Voice automatically BLOCKED the call as "SPAM/JUNK CALLER" so I never heard it ring!
