I too received hang-ups and endless calls from this number. I recently added a call blocking app to my blackberry for .99. The DNC obviously is ineffective so consumers have to be diligent in their own way. My new app has solved my SPAM calls. If a spammer calls, I can block them from my call log; no more calls after I add them to the block list. I highly recommend a call blocking app for your mobile.
Since their agents seem to not want to take the time to remove you from their call list when you request either over the phone, which will either get a "click" in your ear, or profane sexual comments made to you, and since I did call the number to be removed from their calling list, but still call. And since they still call, and I have been on the DNC list for five years, this is what is going ot happen the next time they call here.
I will get the recorded message, I will press 1, and then I will wait for a live agent. When I hear that "lower interest rate" question from the agent, they are going to get a rather loud emergency whistle blown in their ear.
What, that's illegal you say? Well robo calling of a recorded message, without the company identifying their self, to a person on a DNC list is also illegal. What are you going to do USS? Call the cops on me? Yea.. okay, and then you will be incriminating yourself of being a dead-beat telemarketer and I will be subject to damages, which in my state begin at $5,000 and have no limit.
Or.. you could just actually adhere to the laws of telemarketing and the DNC list, and not call or remove my number at my request.
I keep getting calls with a recorded message about lowering my interest rate. I have tried pressing the number they say if I don't want to get any more calls, but I still get them. I also get calls from other 360 numbers about home security systems. They call over and over. I try to talk to a real person but they hang up when I ask them not to call me. Just a few minutes ago I asked if they would please answer a question, and she hung up. I checked other numbers on the phone readout.
