Received a call from this number.....not the first time either. Something about reducing your interest rate on your credit cards, if you owe more that $3,00 on them. It's a waste of time, I don't HAVE any credit cards.
These people are calling daily now. They used to go by Card Services - so now a different name, same SCAM. One search of this number said they were from Capital One. I called Capital One and the agent said they are running all kinds of programs and he had no idea. Really? So, when they call again, just keep hitting ###### (pound symbol) over and over during the recording, it messes up the dialers.
These folks are the reason I invested in a digitone call blocker. Calls from Washington are just the latest of many locations they have used. It doesn't do any good to block their number. They just use another one. With my call blocker you can block the whole area code. So far I've blocked 3 of them in Washington. When the Feds finally uproot them they will just set up shop somewhere else. It's a shame, but that's the way it is. If you Google Rachel at credit card services you'll find lots of information there. Of course Rachel's name is changed to Christy, or a couple of others, but it's the same outfit and the same story line.
I took the call and immediately said put me on your do not call list. Don't call me. He replied, Would you like to offer a year of lap dances? I said I couldn't hear him and he repeated this. Weird, as we have his number, right? I really don't care what he said, I just want some peace from these idiots.

A courteous voice came online to tell me I'd received a commercial call. Really?
The voice then said that pressing "1" will take me off the call list. I did so. We'll see.
What f*cking parasites. I'm on every Do Not Call list I can find but the [***] find me anyway.
