These idiots keep calling - 360 is out of the Bellingham WA area. I don't care if it is a political call and therefore allowed past the DNC list, these jerks are calling on our cell phone!
Received a call on my cell phone from 360-474-3989 @ 9:21am this morning. My call blocking app sent it to voicemail without ringing the phone (love having a rooted phone with Root Call Blocker on it). It's the third time they've called in the past few weeks, according to Root Call Blocker's blocked call history. Unwanted SPAM calls was one of the three reasons that I rooted my Android phone shortly after receiving it, because regular "call blocking" applications like Mr. Number will still allow unwanted calls to ring through at least one or twice before they send the caller to voicemail. Personally, I find that just as annoying as having to disconnect the call (hang up) myself. The application that I mentioned I use on my rooted Android phone blocks unwanted calls and SMS/MMS messages without ringing the phone at all. It just puts a little icon on the info bar at the top of my screen to let me know that calls/texts were blocked, which I can look up in it's history. It is a godsend for anyone that receives a lot of calls from junk debt collectors, unwanted marketing (like this scam call), and the asinine political calls/text messages that most people don't want to receive. Of course, it requires that your smart phone be "rooted" (or "jail-broken", if you use an iPhone) in order to use it, but the other benefits provided by rooting/jail-breaking the phone make doing so a worthwhile effort. You can uninstall those unwanted "demo games" and applications that you otherwise are prevented from removing and frees up phone memory for other games/apps that you DO want.
