Same message others got...pressed 1 to talk someone so I could waste their time. Ended up wasting mine on hold for 5 minutes. :( I feel terrible for people who fall for this robospam and give out their info.
If you get these calls, to donotcall.gov and report the violation if you are listed on the Federal Do Not Call list. While each individual complaint won't be specifically resolved, aggregating the complaints together eventually forces action.
Only thing that stops these calls is recognizing by callerid the number is spoofed, basically the number that shows up lists a state and unknown caller, then letting your answering machine answer and having at the start of your answering machine greeting a disconnected number tone found here:

Just record that at the start of your answering machine greeting, and let the answering machine pick up when you don't recognize the number. The robocall software thinks the number is disconnected when it hears that disconnect tone, and they stop calling, this is the ONLY WAY they stop calling your number. No matter how many times you speak to someone and say remove me from list, or hitting 5 or whatever to stop receiving these calls, this disconnected number tone is the only thing that stops these animals. This has been going on for years, no matter how many complaints you make to the fcc and ftc and do not call registry list, nothing WORKS, just this disconnect tone! Good luck people ...
Called ID says "CNAM", but it is the same old credit card scam about lowering your rates. These people never give up. They seem to call 2-3 times everyday at all hours. I never answer the phone when they call, but they just keep on calling. They have numerous names that come up on call ID, but they are all the same place.
Just got a call about a final message on my credit cards (Which I don't have). I keep putting these people on NO Call List, and they still call. What should we do to STOP these scammers?
