They call my fax machine and home number and offer to drop its credit card rates. Another number they call from is 253-246-8518. Just goes to show the total incompetence and uselessness of the Federal Government. Empty promises and incompetent bureaucrats.
My credit card has nothing wrong with it, how the hell do they know if I even have a card, which I don't, damned annoying, would like to stick their phone where the sun doesn't shine. Robo mfs.
This guys call me at least 3 times a week asking me if I want to lower my credit card rate or some such nonsense. I said I was on the Do Not Call Registry and to take my number off their list and they still call.
This number is one of about 8 or more different phone numbers with a recorded message from "cardmember services". They keep calling. I have blocked each number individually and I also am on the do not call list, but that does not stop them. I don't even have a credit card.To thwart them, I will answer any unknown caller numbers. Logically, I think if it is someone who has a legitimate message for me, they will leave it on my answering machine. It is becoming a game to them. Maybe they get one out of a hundred who somehow falls for this. I would not call them back for fear that you may be charged for some outrageous phone call, probably to Nigeria. This is such an annoying scam. Hope this helps.
