Numerous calls from this number regarding lowering my interest rate on credit cards. When I push "1" to try to see if I can find out who they are, the phone hangs up.
Unknown caller. Have identified a pattern of calls from around country. Identifier only gives a state, e.g. "WA, USA". I am collecting the numbers to turn in to FCC and FTC.
Caller ID: STUDENT SERVICE -- I don't answer any calls that I don't recognize and shut my answering machine off before they can leave a message on it! I then put them on my block call list. It works for me.
I am waiting for those political calls to start this Fall! I am so tired of politicians and anyone else calling and invading my privacy. I don't have a phone for the politicians to call me or those people who are scam artists. Isn't anything private anymore!!!

Anyone receiving a call from 360-529-6177 understand that this is a phishing scam. They will claim that they are account services and attempt to get you to give you the bank and credit card number for your credit card. If you talk to them at all press them for a real company name. They will not give it or they will place you on hold. Ask them what City or State they are located in and same response. Do not press one or you will receive more calls. If you have a cell phone block the number in your blocked number section. You can file a complaint with the FTC but most have found that nothing is being done and if you look on any of the google sites for the number you will find a large number of similar complaints. Check and see if your State Attorney Generals Office has a consumer protection unit. You might be able to have them initiate a complaint immediately. The Do not call list is a joke as the FTC does very little or waits until the company changes its number and starts all over again. Remember these are Federal Employees who will not contact you at any time after you file the complaint.
