Numerous calls from this number regarding lowering my interest rate on credit cards. When I push "1" to try to see if I can find out who they are, the phone hangs up.
Since they ask for your credit card number, the security number on the back, your ssn and address; I suspect they're giving the information to organized crime for credit card fraud and identity theft. If they're simply making charges to your credit card, wouldn't we think the credit card companies would shut them down? I'm tempted to get a prepaid card with about a dollar on it, them give them that information to see what happens. If any gov't agency cared about this, these guys would have been shut down by now. I've been getting calls from them for 4 years.
This number calls everyday it seems and drives me nuts. I put all my numbers on a do not call registry and I still receives calls from marketers, political opinions and some alarm company trying to sell alarm systems.
I get three phone calls a day. I've FINALLY got a good call back number to mess with them. *67 770-293-0150. Enjoy I've already called a couple times today. You most likely will get hold music for a couple of seconds and then get someone asking if you pressed one to lower your interest rates. I'm not rude I just call and act like a customer to waste their time. Have fun!
