Some guy called. He left a message. The message was all broken up. Said to have my attorney call him right away in a rather demanding voice. First of all if I have some kind of problem with the IRS I am sure I will get some kind of paper in the mail. Don't fall for their crap. They are just trying to get money from you. Waste of time.
i've been getting calls from(360) 533-7349. I never answer until today 7/7/14, told the guy to put me on their do not call list, he said that I had to pay a fee to get I the list. I then asked him how he get my number, he said he's on a dialer and I will get called every single day. I need them reported immediately.
This number was calling me repeatedly as well and I decided to answer it thinking it was a solicitor I can let them know I'm not interested. They hung up the first time, but the second time it was someone saying they are calling from a government office and I have just been selected to receive a $9k grant for being a "good citizen". After I listened for awhile and decided it was a scam, I hung up and blocked the number. I googled the free government grant for "good citizen" thing and saw that in this scam, they will ask that the person wire transfer some $$ for verification purposes (not surprisingly). I just don't want anyone else to get scammed because apparently these "people" have been successful in scamming people out of $$. The government will NEVER reach out to us to give us $$, you have to ask (apply) for it and sometimes fight, even if it's rightfully yours lol.
Repeated calls from this number. Today it was more than 5 times. No one is there when I answer. I finally turned my phone off so it would stop ringing. I want to call and complain about this but not sure who to tell.
