They're still doing this - they've been calling me daily for a few weeks, I'm on the do not call list, like they care. SEO Services of Orange County is what they told me. (Latest call 3:44pm Pacific/Cascadian Standard Time, Thursday, 5 November.)
They called and hung up. When I blocked my # and called back, they had no company name in their greeting and gave me an option to be put on their do not call list. Of course I didn't do that b/c I blocked my number. From what I've read above they have claimed to be Google. Google does not telemarket at all. This is obviously a dishonest company that is using auto-dialing software. They are now on my blocked call list. Have a great day everyone!
This number just called me and I spoke to Jane, How generic is that. I told he that Google, Bing and Yahoo do not cold call businesses like that, Jane stated that she knew that and that this company was not associated with them. So I played her game, I said that I was interested in the service that they had to offer, she then proceeded to ask me for my credit card number so that she could charge me for marketing services. When it came time for me to give her the number I blurted out " I love purple nail polish it tastes like grapes." She responded with what is your credit card number. I responded with "I eat boogers and they also taste like grapes......Do you like grape flavored boogers too?" She responded with "No ma'm I don't, can I please have you credit card number." So I proceeded to tell her my number 666. She stated that it was not a valid number and I responded with, "you call me again you will be hearing from my lawyer." Click.....phone call ended.
Side note: this company has many different phone numbers, so even if you block this number they will call again. This SEO Services company is a big fat scammer company. They are more that willing to charge you for nothing because they bought you number. Even if you ack like a crazy person. And remember....grape boogers are yummy....Mmmmmm!
Robocall from "Sherry" trying to help my business with Yahoo Bing Google listing. I did not try to reach a live person. Unfortunately, the call came to my business number. I can't block numbers on it or avoid answering unknown callers.
