The name that comes up on my caller ID is Josh Eval and when you say hello, the phone rings and the person that answers speaks in broken English and starts by saying that there is some sort of communication problem and that the call is very important to me, I don't know what else he was going to say because I told him that it was not important to me and hung up
Same scam as usual, claiming to be a debt collector, wanting to speak to me or my attorney, wishing me luck, etc, etc, etc, you'd think someone could eventually do something about these non-english speaking harassers, but I guess that is too much to ask in the US as it might hurt someones feelings.
call from Austin Flemming ID 6269 (he said with a heavy accent) wanted me to run EVENTVWR and lt him in to my computer to get rid of correpted files. He "knew" my computer was infected. Well, I'm sure it would have been after he finished with it. He also told me I could call him bacl at 206-456-1960.
A heavily accented man called and told me he was calling from Microsoft about my computer. I have received calls from the same (I think) guy on my office phone, my home land line and my cell phone all saying the same thing. I have just hung up on him, usually before he gets to tell me what he wants!
This scam caller claims to be with Microsoft and wants to help me "fix" Windows on my PC. They call at least weekly, and claim my PC is sending "bad messages to the internet". I can guarantee you that if you give them any information, you will be ruined financially, and will have a PC that never works the same way again- - - ever. I'm surprised Microsoft hasn't tracked them down to eliminate their scam operation under the guise of a Microsoft corporate entity. I told them to call me back at 202-456-1414 so I could give them more info.
The way to fix this annoying problem of scam-callers and telemarketers is to vote AGAINST every politician who is currently in office. Why? Because we already have laws and processes to protect us from these scammers who want to steal our freedom and security. The incompetent career politicians who are currently in office have done nothing to enforce the laws we sent them to enforce. You can make a difference on your Primary and General Election Days by voting against EVERY politician in office - - fire them all, and replace them with new blood. If you do not fire every political moron, we will continue to receive these abusive and annoying illegal scam calls from the maggots known as telemarketers. The scam calls are a product of the career politicians who aren't doing the jobs we hired them to do. Scammers know there is no penalty for calling because politicians aren't enforcing the laws; politicians and scammers are bred from the same gene pool. Please be a true American and vote against ALL incumbents on Election Day!
