Same scam for me. My wife took the first call and knew they were a scam. The calls stopped for a few days then we got 4 of them in one day. I answered on the fourth one and talked to the lady and ran her a laundry list of why I knew this was a scam. I politely told her to take this number off their call list we are not the idiots your looking for. Then she continued to try and defend her scam...I lost it and told her to go %^&* herself and hung up. Not heard back since.
Some [***] claiming to be from Microsoft. I wonder if, instead of trying to stop a single number, someone might be able to go after the copany that allows that block of numbers (360-6xx-xxxx) to be used for nefarious purposes.
Same as before - heavily accented male answers (after a brief ringing, which was weird). The person identified himself from Microsoft, and that my computer had been sending messages to the internet or some bulls%$#. I asked for his Microsoft ID number, and he replied "180." I replied that I thought that was funny, since I thought MS ID#'s were 6-8 digits (I honestly have no idea) and then threatened to report him to the Attorney General's Office. He then replied that he only gave me part of the ID. I then acknowledged that I really had no idea how many numbers a MS ID# would have, and then said "Sir? You are an idiot." I told him I was an idiot that knew better, and hung up. :-)
