Call all of the time saying this is my final notice to take advantage of the credit card stimulus act. I connected once and the lady was super rude and hung up on me. The second time I asked the name of the company and the gentleman replied "Credit Card Services," and said they were in NY. When I look up the 360 area code it says Olympia, WA area, so they must be lying. Clearly a scam I would say. The gentleman asked why I was asking the questions, and I said to be taken off their call list. He said to call the operator and have the call blocked? I said, um no, I would like someone there to take me off of the calling list. He said he would take care of it.
If you have Verizon Fios then you can block 10 calls. I also have a set of cordless phones that block 30 calls. Several companies make these now. Good Luck.
