I've submitted a complaint against telemarketer 3760-633-9447 on the Federal National Do Not Call Registry.
Its only takes a minute and will increase the size of the fines against them. https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
Received a call from 360-633-9447. Caller id said 'V' plus a string of 14 numbers, so right away I know this is a scam. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know, but I did search for the number and found this page. They call regularly. Complaining about the Do Not Call list is worthless. For that list to work requires voluntary compliance from reputable businesses. These bottom-feeders are obviously criminals (and likely operating from outside the US), so why would they care about some Do Not Call list... The only way these things will stop is if people stop answering.
I've done this over 20 times now. They just keep calling and calling. I've been dealing with it for over a month. And when I do get thru to a person I've asked to be taken off their list and even asked to speak to a manager...they just hang up on you....every time
Can these calls be reported as harassing calls? I have been called so many times that I am unable to count them. Is there a law that governs how a person can deal with these annoying calls? Does my phone carrier share any responsibility for this situation?
These are not the only telemarketer scam calls that I receive day after day. Is there a law enforcement agency that handles these types of situations?
