I unplugged my answering machine so they just reach a ring. I also have purchased a call blocker device and as these calls come in if I am not home to immediately block them I block them manually , it does work. I have written to three different attorney generals in three different states and each one basically said they are spoofed numbers and not much they can do about it. I still would suggest people do the same thing and bombard them something can be done, they just need to be pushed.
I have a Panasonic KXTG7741 wireless that will block 25 numbers. It will also block politicians and others that regulated phone companies cannot block.
Got call from this number said alert on caller id so i picked up and used robot voice and said Alert, Alert, Spam caller on the line. said it 3 times and they hung up.

I listed to the recording and after it said "press 1 for them to verify the address" it then said "press 5 to notify your insurance carrier that you refused shipment. I then hung up.
