I received this call on both lines simultaneously. When I called them back, an Indian woman with a thick accent answerd "Something loans" and when I said, "Excuse me?" she said, "Personal or business?" I said, "Excuse me?" again and she said, "Loan company." She then hung up on me and when I call back it just rings.
I did not answer the call since the number was unknown. It came in on my Google number and yes, that is the number attached to my domain name registrations.
These guys called me and harassed me - talking [***] to me and flithy language. I don't need any loan from them. They are freaks, indian guys. I am in Indian girl and they spoke rubbish to me in Hindi and say they are doing prank calls from radio mirchi.
They are disgusting people and have my home address as well, unfortunately and even my email address.
Please stop these harassing people.
I have VOIP service for some telephone numbers. It is easy to block calls using various schemes:
1) Based upon previous calls I can add hundreds of numbers in a personal block, or I forward them to "Lenny" (a recording that sound like a dumb guy who asks them questions and keeps them on the line) or to a recording that the number is disconnected. http://www.toao.net/595-lenny
2) I can have the "automated attendant" answer and request that the person press a digit to connect. Most robo-calls are recordings and don't have a human listening.
3) My voip provider allows me to get a free INUM (international number) which I use for registrations. That number is 15 digits long including country code. Most telemarketers know nothing about them and even so, there are trillions of numbers they would have to dial to hit my phone. INUMS ARE legal telephone numbers but not all providers let you dial them (ICANN says you must use a valid number which I do, but they don't say it has to be easy for telemarketers to dial).
