I received this call on both lines simultaneously. When I called them back, an Indian woman with a thick accent answerd "Something loans" and when I said, "Excuse me?" she said, "Personal or business?" I said, "Excuse me?" again and she said, "Loan company." She then hung up on me and when I call back it just rings.
i didn't answer it. Just don't want calls from this or any unknown number. If I don't know it, I don't answer it. They can leave a message and I'll get back with them if I feel it's important.
I was so stupid as to say yes to the question of are you looking for a loan. They actually sent me paperwork and requested $451 to get everything done. Luckily I read everything and then looked up the company name to find out it's a fraud. Now I'm trying to figure out what to do.
Advance fee loans are illegal period and in some states, so are the payday loans. Please be aware the scammers may also claim down the road that you have taken a loan and try to extort money from you that way as well!
