Same as Mike and Marvin and probably the same recorded message. Sounds phoney. They wanted me to call 360-450-0205 for more info which I did not do. You would think that IRS would want to go and get these criminals.
email sent to IRS:
Automated female voice from 360-566-2212 leaves a message that IRS is suing me, and to call another number 360-450-0205 for more info which I did not do. I would think that IRS would want to go and get these criminals. I am not the only one that got this call. These sort of people need to be stopped. IRS,,, why not call this number and tell them to stop this for us taxpayers that they are trying to rip off.
Automated female voice from 360-566-2212 leaves a message that IRS is suing me, and to call another number 360-450-0205 for more info which I did not do. The IRS does not contact individuals via phone. They only contact via mail, ie ... a paper trail. Did not respond. As a side note they called my cellphone number.
Same crap as every one else received, do they really think the IRS is going to contact a 3rd person to inform them that they ( IRS ) is going to sue them??? Richard Pryor summed it up best many years ago about his girl friend who broke up with him on a voice mail..........................".please God let my hands reach through the telephone lines to get around her neck", same with these low rent scums.
Received call on my cell phone from a number I didn't recognize. Femal recording was cut off but told me to call 360-450-0205 about a case file. I'm sure it's a scam. Read previous comments. Will block the number.
I did not answer the phone call on my mobile phone as I did not recognize the number. They left a voicemail: "This is the Internal Revenue Service. The reason of this call is to inform you that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you.To get more information about this case file please call immediately on (360) 566-2212. I repeat (360) 566-2212. Thank you."
