I received a call at 10:05am and I am on the east coast from a Washington State number - which would be 7am their time. Message was cut off but same as other posters - call about case number and left the phone number.
Got the same automated voice call stating that the IRS had filed suit against me. I'm ashamed to say that I was scared for about 15 seconds...then realized that it must be a scam... the IRS doesn't call you, they send certified letters. It's an awful trick... don't fall for it.
I just received a call from this number, a female voice recording claiming I am being sued by the IRS. and to call this number. At first my heart stopped beating ( I don't even have a parking ticket)... but then decided to google the number because I just knew it must be a scam. Glad I did. Thanks guys for having this page. I am also going to report it to the police, for it scared the crap out of me!!!

they use a predictive dialer...and leave mass messages.....when you call back fake names ....mark williams and supervisor jack smith.......they are a scam......IRS never will call you .....they send notices and show up at your door but no phone calls...I have called these people back and have played with them a bit...but they are so rediculous i am not sure why anyone talking to them within minutes couldnt know they are scamming.................
