They just called my husband and we knew it was a scam based on the prerecorded message they play when you answer the phone. Something about 'lowering your apr on your credit card.' the best part is that we dont even have a credit card! So my husband held on and waited for an operator to pick up. A woman finally answered and attempted to sound professional when she said hello. My husband immediately said 'hi, do you even know my apr rate?' the woman immediately hung up on him. He attempted to call the number back and was greeted with the beep message saying the number has been disconnected or is no longer in service. Bunch of crooks....beware and don't share info over the phone!
Didn't answer. No message left. I used to cuss at people who made calls like this. Now I'm wondering if there is some way to SCARE a caller like this, with either a made-up or actual threat of getting a law enforcement agency involved.
