"Officer David Williams" from the "IRS" called me this morning and left a message saying that this is the last chance I have to work with him. Called back from another numbers and after his spiel I told him that I know he's not working with the IRS and knew he was lying about the lawsuit and warrant. He then began asking me what I am wearing, my age, and other inappropriate questions, and said it was okay since I knew he wasn't an official. He asked for my location and I told him that I don't give out personal information to anyone and he "promised" he wouldn't misuse any of it (yeah, I'm sure that since he promised, I can totally trust him!). Don't even give this disgusting piece of crap the time of day. Report it to your wireless service or phone company to see if the can block it from their standpoint as well as your own phone's blocking ability. Get these jerks reported and their numbers taken down. Scum of the earth scammers!
Have now received two calls from this number. Person has Indian accent and identifies himself as Robin. He states that the $3000 loan I requested has been approved. When I told him I didn't apply for a loan and confronted him he kept telling me "Well then it's your lucky day". I told him not to call me again or I would report him to the police. The second phone call was today (a week since the last one). I didn't answer and he left a voicemail again that he was Robin and that he wanted to check to see if I'm still interested in the $3000 personal loan. What a joke. Isn't there more that can be done other than blocking? There are so many people (elderly, mentally disabled, etc.) that are so susceptible to this type of thing. Anyone called authorities and gotten anywhere? Seems like there's more that should be able to be done about these people.
I seen where they called so I phoned back and got a man saying Hello a few times then I said who is this you called my number. He hesitates and then says we are in the business of loans are you needing a loan mam? I told them NO and take me off the list and do not call again then hung up.
