Thomas called our office and asked to speak with the owner. I replied that I was the office manager and how could I assist him. He replied, well I need to speak with the owner. I gently explained that he (the doctor) was with a patient and in jest asked if he wanted me to take the doctor away from the patient. Thomas replied yes. Like that was going to happen!
Wow.....Rude is being nice! This guy is in the wrong business! He obviously doesn't have a clue about the Dr. receiving phone calls at work. He would make a great used car salesman.
I received the same kind of call, I asked for more information, he just kept repeating: are you the business owner? I told him I could not give him any information until I knew who he was and the purpose of his call.
He hung up on me in mid sentence.
He did say he was Thomas.
I will say this: if this was a legitimate call, THEIR business owner should be extremely worried about professionalism, presentation and manners.
