Big scam and not being done by the American Chronic Pain Association. They have a warning on their website about these scammers. Another name the scammers use is National Pain Center.
These SOB keep on calling. I made a mistake of picking up the phone because the Caller ID read Agua Dulce. The name is that of a regional supplier of water who delivered water to us in the past. Big mistake. Da&&%$ f&^%%$g, they tried to get my Medicare info. Bunch of crooks! The Do Not call registry is also for the birds.
I think the phone companies provide people with these numbers to call from -and , and/or social security with OUR numbers to call!! ! How else is it that there are calls from number that they say this is not a working number, or a valid number, if the phone company is not cooperating???
How come so many medical alert calls seem to come only for those of us over 50? And it could be your friendly get well pharmacy or AARP!!! And even AARP is a pain - they keep calling!! Wish there were a way to forward all these calls to out governments officials!!!!!! Complain to them often anyway!!!
