OOP'S. I CUT MYSELF OFF, SO THE BEGINNING OF THIS MESSAGE IS REPEATED. FEEL TOTALLY OBLIGATED TO DECENCY, WISH TO SHOW HOW MUCH DEEPER THIS ISSUE IS, GOT A CALL FROM THE SAME # AS YOU ALL, 361-998-9450 YESTERDAY MAR 4TH 2015 AROUND 2:00 E.S.T. THEY LEFT NO MESSAGE, SO AS ALWAYS CHECKED THE I.D. IT JUST SAID "ALERT" AND THE #. HERE IS THE THING---- MY # HAS NEVER BEEN PUBLISHED IN 32+YEARS, AND MUCH MORE REGARDING MY EXTENSIVE PRIVACY PRACTICES, SO FOR SURE THEY ARE JUST ROTARY DIALING, OR ALWAYS POSSIBLE IT IS AN INCOGNITO CALL FOR A REASON, COULD BE ANYTHING FROM GOVT. STUFF TO .................... SO I CALLED IT, RECORDING SAID " THANK YOU FOR CALLING BACK, IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO RECIEVE ANY OF OUR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES PRESS 1 NOW TO BE REMOVED FROM OUR LIST. PEOPLE !!!!!!! THEY HAVE NO LIST OBVIOUSLY, IF YOU PRESS 1 THEN THE INTERACTION REVEALES YOUR # !!! SEE? THEY DO NOT EVEN SAY WHAT THEIR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE, BECAUSE THERE ARE NONE! WHICH IS ALSO WHY THEY DO NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE, FOR WHATEVER THEY DO SAY WILL EXPOSE THE DECEPTION, BECAUSE THEY JUST WANT US TO RESPOND WHICH TECHNICALLY GIVES THEM "LICENSE TO STEAL", BECAUSE WE PLAYED INTO IT. IF YOU ONLY KNEW MY BACKGROUND PROFESSIONALLY, I WOULD ELABORATE MORE ON 1,000 THING'S THAT WE DO THAT MAKE'S THE DETESTABLE AMONG'ST US SUCCEED. ALL OF US TOGETHER, EVERY MINUTE WE LIVE MUST STOP AND THINK THRU WHAT JUST HAPPENED TO US B4 WE DO ANYTHING AT ALL, IN THIS WAY WE HELP EACH OTHER TOO, BY SHUTTING DOWN THE TIME WASTING, CLEAR LOSERS THAT COULD HAVE SPENT THE TIME BEING ADVANTAGEOUS! AT LEAST ONCE IN THEIR SORRY EXISTANCE'S. IF YOU WILL, PLEASE PASS THESE THOUGHT'S ON DOWN THE LINE THRU YOU'R LIVES, TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE, IT IS THE ONLY WAY, BE WISER, TAKE ACTION!!! NOT JUST A TALKER. RIGHT ???!!! HANG TIGHT EVERYONE.
All that sarcasm for nothing. The Do Not Call list does nothing. Don't waste your time. You are better off trying to find a way to block unwanted numbers.
The DNC was created at a time when all of this chaos didn't exist. It was created for one sole purpose only. That purpose was and still is to limit the amount of Telemarketing (Telephone sales calls...not hangups, robots, or scamming) from Legitimate and "Registered with the FTC American Telemarketing businesses" to those who have registered also, not to be called. It was and still is for that purpose and is based upon the honor system. Most people don't even know what a Telemarketer is, as defined by the FTC. There is no way humanly possible to stop criminals or anyone else who wants to call someone from dialing a number. There is no way that any system can monitor over 350 million plus telephone, and the millions of phone calls made and received each day, and make an instant decision on which calls every American wants or wants not to receive. . It simply can't be done. Most people have no conceivable idea of how the DNC is setup, what its sole purpose is and the mamouth limitations it faces in a world full of worldwide criminals. Yet, all of the legitimate American business still honor it..as was the original intended purpose. Those businesses are registered and must purchase the list and update every 31 days. Annual cost of about $3500.00.....Fines for violations are up to 16k.
It is an impossible task to give what people demand from a simple list intended for honest businesses. And yet it is blamed for every unwanted call, hangup, prank, the great biblical flood and herpes.
For gosh sakes people...go to the DNC site and read.
Thursday 05 March 2015 -- 4:18 pm -- Caller ID said "aqua dulce tx". No message was left. Checking several sites, most complaints say the caller is from "American Chronic Pain Association". Some complaints indicate that when called back, this is a disconnected number. Clearly considering a spam call.
It is not from the American Chronic Pain Association. The criminals behind this pain cream fraud are illegally using their name. There is a warning on their website about this.
